The Albumly service
Albumly provides tools for adults to privately preserve written memories, photos, videos, voice recordings, life events, and selected family-shared content. Features, storage limits, and family-member limits depend on your plan.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activity performed through your account. You must promptly notify Albumly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the memories and media you upload. You grant Albumly a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transcode where needed, display, back up, and transmit your content solely to operate, secure, and provide the service according to your instructions.
You must have the rights and permissions necessary to upload content and share it with invited family members.
Acceptable use
You may not use Albumly to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, abuse infrastructure, upload unlawful exploitation material, impersonate others, or interfere with other users or the service.
Plans and subscriptions
Free and paid plan limits are shown on the Albumly pricing pages. Paid plans are billed annually and renew automatically until renewal is canceled. Paddle processes paid subscriptions as merchant of record. Taxes may be calculated and collected by Paddle where applicable.
You can manage billing, change plans where supported, or cancel future renewal from Albumly billing controls and/or Paddle customer tools. Canceling renewal normally keeps paid access through the end of the current paid period unless a different result is required by law or payment-provider rules.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable preservation service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Albumly may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, technical, or business reasons. We will use reasonable care when changes materially affect paid service.
Backups and preservation
Albumly uses operational safeguards and backups, but no storage system can provide an absolute guarantee against every form of loss. You should keep independent copies of irreplaceable originals. Albumly may provide export tools to help you keep your own copy.
Family access
You control whom you invite and which memories you mark for family sharing. Family members are responsible for protecting their own account access. Revoking access prevents future authorized access but cannot erase copies another person may already have independently made.
Account termination and deletion
You may delete your account from Settings. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and stored Albumly content, subject to limited legal, security, payment, and backup retention. If you have an active paid subscription, Albumly will attempt to stop future renewal as part of the deletion process.
Albumly may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security threats, fraud, nonpayment, or legal requirements.
Disclaimers
Albumly is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every feature will always be error-free or that every item of uploaded content can be recovered under all circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Albumly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or opportunities, arising from use of the service. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections that apply based on the parties and transaction. Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact Albumly at info@albumly.in so we can try to resolve the issue.
